This is a project in which we embarked on mapping our vague childhood memories.
This embroidery was a result of a year of exploration. Each pearl is sewn after the completion of a 6x6” drawing that reflects a specific memorable moment in time. Each thread signifies a recollection of several similar events.
Most pearls are memories that have resurfaced in our minds during drawing and painting.
